oh good! good new profile pic, too. it tells us how much you love your husband, in case we didn't already know! do you remember Jane in Pride and Prejudice, when she finally marries Mr. Bingley? (have we talked about this?) anyway, Jane says to Lizzy, "Oh, how happy I am! It is too much to bear! how can I carry all of this happiness!" and of course she will carry it graciously and it will bleed out into the life around her, and into the lives around her. as will your happiness, in Christ, and now in your earthly groom, your derek! yay!!!!!!
by the way, lately I have been shamelessly using excessive punctuation (see my second to last post). two, three, four exclaimation points? no big deal. ten exclaimation points? sure, it works.

i got your phonecall. thank you so much. i spent tonight with ryan, his best friend+wife playing games & handing out candy. it has been really hard lately, if you couldn't tell. it is just that ryan and i know everything about eachother. that is hard. more later, in a less public way.

i hate the word congrats. i like the whole word better. but i can never spell it quite right.
but yes, really congrats on becoming One with derek. you get to become more and more one with him over a long span on time, and that is such a curious and fluid and set-apart, beautiful thing. wow, it really is.
